Cultural Exchange in Japan and Abroad
Over the years, we have introduced the art of tea at a wide range of venues in Japan and abroad,
including historic cultural institutions and museums, world-renowned landmarks, governmental and
diplomatic facilities, universities, and local government institutions.
Our activities go beyond presenting tea ceremony simply as a traditional Japanese art. We place great
importance on creating opportunities for cultural exchange with cultural institutions, governmental
organizations, universities, and private companies in various countries, using the art of tea as a means of
communicating Japanese culture, history, and aesthetic sensibilities to the world.
We will continue to promote cultural exchange between Japan and the international community through
the art of tea.
